    Teamspeak 5 Beta Update 5.0.0-beta47 and beta46

    Es gibt einen neuen Teamspeak 5 Beta Client.

    Beta 47 is now ready to test and has been released into our closed beta channel.

    With this version you now can add “Contacts” and “Rooms” in own categories.

    • To add or remove or set a category you need to right click on a contact or room.
    • Favorites won’t show up in the custom category. They stay sorted above as their own category.
    • These categories are not synced yet but later on this will be possible.
    • A category must have at least 3 characters (see known below changelog)

* Ignore cache when loading server banner

    Beta 46 was released into our closed beta channel.

    • We re-designed the existing room discovery where you can find public chat rooms.
      This is not the final version yet and more will be added to the dialog in later beta versions.

    • The chrome version was update and should fix flickering on some locations

    Teamspeak 5 Beta Update 5.0.0-beta45x and beta44

    Es gibt einen neuen Teamspeak 5 Beta Client. Angekommen sind wir bei der beta45.1

    Beta 45.1 is available in our closed beta channel.

    As we did tease in last announcement: Whisperlists are back!

    • Use synced lists ! Create new ! Setup targets ! Use hotkeys ! as you are used to from TS3.
    • New is a whisper manager that can be opened with a right click on Target (channel or user) or while you are connected and have the whisper settings opened.
    • This whisper manager opens as an activity. It has feature to show a preview where you would whisper to with current selected whisperlist. You will see an orange frame around the targets.
    • We hope the new setup for whisper is less confusing as it was in TS3.

    We also touched the pinned message dialog and removed the number when minimized and removed the old pinned message dialog.

    An avatar that was set in the account page now updates for contacts and chats without the need to restart the client.

    We pushed a new beta version into the closed beta channel.

    This client adds a new overlay for pinned messages and will replace the old one in one of the next versions.
    And we improved the UI with all the different scaling modes and touched the Detailed Server Tree to save a bit more space.

    We know you are waiting for it but Whisperlists did not make into this version but we are working on it to bring it in one of the next updates.

    Teamspeak 5 Beta Update 5.0.0-beta43

    Es gibt einen neuen Teamspeak 5 Beta Client. Angekommen sind wir bei der beta43.

    Beta 43 just got uploaded into the closed beta channel.

    New in that version is that you can set an avatar for each status from our chat.
    The location hasn’t changed. You still find it under the Settings -> Account -> next to your myTS name.

    Let us explain how each status in combination with or withour avatar will behave

    Available

    • Does replace the old avatar mechanism from previous versions
    • Will be shown in chat, forum and on server (unless a server avatar is set)
    • If none has been set here, but in one of the other statuses, one of the other status avatar will be used instead.

    Away , Do not Disturb and Offline

    • Will be shown in chat only
    • If none was set for the status but available has one then you see this instead

    Offline

    • This avatar will be shown when you are offline or have status invisible

    The Changelog

    • Allow setting individual avatars per status (online, away etc)
    • Fix crash on Linux when opening dialogs
    • Minor improvements and bug fixes

    Known

    File Dialogs may not work on some Linux distributions

    Beta 42

    We released our next beta version for the closed beta channel.

    This release does fix bugs that came up with the whisper feature.
    Next version will get new things again :slight_smile:

    Es gibt einen neuen Teamspeak 5 Beta Client. Angekommen sind wir bei der beta41.

    Beta 41

    With the version we started to add the whisper feature back into the client. This release is the initial version for whispering and more functions will be added in one of our next updates.

    • Update Chromium, which should fix the debug.log issue users sometimes faced
    • Reply to Whisper
    • Quick Whisper to selected clients / channels. See Settings -> Whisper for more details
    • Whisper history widget
    • Fix using wrong nickname when dropping from a server
    • Fix issues with identity improvement
    • Show when you were invited on room and contact invites
    • Fix avatars in chat being cropped sometimes
    • Add read indicator to files in detailed chat mode
    • Minor improvements and bugfixes

    There was no update on MacOs caused by technical issues.

    Beta 41.1

    And today we released 41.1 to fix the issue with the permission dialog and settings in Slim-Mode (WIP)

    This update is available on all operation system again.
