Hello everyone!

Beta version 54 is now available to test! This week we fixed some bugs that were reported by the TS community and added a few new things for everyone to try out.

Hopefully the changelog and extra notes should explain the update well enough.

Beta 53

Howdyyyy

Beta version 53 is now available.
This week we fixed some bugs that got reported and did go one with work on file transfers.

I think this time the change log explains itself.

Beta 52.x

Hello a new beta update was released.
And this is what we’ve added and changed since the last client, along with some bug fixes.

• We decided to change the invite protocol to teamspeak://
  The invite via tsserver:// won’t work any longer work in TS5!
• We added cid (for channel id as target) as optional invite parameter. We missed that in beta 51.

Here is an example where channel was replaced with cid as target.

Known

* Bandwidth setting applies really high numbers when values like 2,5 Gbps got set before. This fix did not made it into beta 52.
* Bandwidth default is 0 and means unlimited. We are still working on it and will add a setting to disable limitation for a better understanding.
* teamspeak:// invite in chats are not converted but ts3server:// invites are.

Beta 51

Greetings!
We just released beta 51 for all testers

• This time we added feature back to connect via hyperlink (known ts3server and new tsserver) .
  These optional parameters are supported in TS5

File browser

• We continued the work on the file browser and history. We touched the UI and added functions like drag and move into folder (also into the address bar) or other channels.
  The middle mouse button now can open the file browser again like you know it from TS3

Es gibt einen neuen Teamspeak 5 Beta Client.

Beta 48 has been released into our closed beta channel and can be tested.

You now can hide the client in the taskbar when minimized and the client can minimize to tray instead of closing when the X is pressed. Both options are disabled by default but can be activated under the Behavior tab in the settings.

Es gibt einen neuen Teamspeak 5 Beta Client.

Beta 47 is now ready to test and has been released into our closed beta channel.

With this version you now can add “Contacts” and “Rooms” in own categories.

• To add or remove or set a category you need to right click on a contact or room.
• Favorites won’t show up in the custom category. They stay sorted above as their own category.
• These categories are not synced yet but later on this will be possible.
• A category must have at least 3 characters (see known below changelog)

Beta 46 was released into our closed beta channel.

• We re-designed the existing room discovery where you can find public chat rooms.
  This is not the final version yet and more will be added to the dialog in later beta versions.

• The chrome version was update and should fix flickering on some locations

Es gibt einen neuen Teamspeak 5 Beta Client. Angekommen sind wir bei der beta43.

Beta 43 just got uploaded into the closed beta channel.

New in that version is that you can set an avatar for each status from our chat.
The location hasn’t changed. You still find it under the Settings -> Account -> next to your myTS name.

Let us explain how each status in combination with or withour avatar will behave

Available

• Does replace the old avatar mechanism from previous versions
• Will be shown in chat, forum and on server (unless a server avatar is set)
• If none has been set here, but in one of the other statuses, one of the other status avatar will be used instead.

Away , Do not Disturb and Offline

• Will be shown in chat only
• If none was set for the status but available has one then you see this instead

Offline

• This avatar will be shown when you are offline or have status invisible

The Changelog

• Allow setting individual avatars per status (online, away etc)
• Fix crash on Linux when opening dialogs
• Minor improvements and bug fixes

Known

File Dialogs may not work on some Linux distributions
